Major Milestone!

Today was a major milestone. Judah had his first day of Kindergarten. It went okay but he wasn't sure about things because he is the only white boy in his class. We have nothing against other races he just felt out of place, so we are going to have to work with him and teach him that they aren't different on the inside.

Family Day

We have had a very busy summer and Judah starts school tomorrow so we wanted to make sure to take time to spend together as a family. Since Judah is starting school, we let him decide what we did. It started by taking a picnic to the park.

They love to pretend to sell and by ice cream, and you must pretend to eat it.

Then we went to feed the geese.





After that I tried to get some nice pictures.


Emma Grace did not want to cooperate. It was past nap time.




Next, we went to get ice cream!!

So many choices!

Judah got, chocolate pudding ice cream with chocolate chips.

Ephraim got cotton candy ice cream with rainbow sprinkles.

Jacob got cotton candy as well with gummy bears.

Emma Grace shared with Jacob and as you can see she was very tired at this point.

After ice cream we went to the pet store and gave in and came home with a pet. A parakeet named Ben Fluffy Blue, Ben for short. He is light blue and white. Ephraim is allergic to cats and dogs and Judah has always wanted a bird, so we got one. Not sure if it was a good thing or not yet, but it made them happy.
