Marshall visit part I

A couple days after Christmas we got some long awaited guests. Paul's sister(Lynette), her husband(Spencer), and their two children(Sarah and Parker). The first full day they were here we went to Crown Center and played on Crayola Land. The kids had a blast!
Emma Grace. As you can see, she ripped her tights. They were brand new and she had them ripped before we even got anywhere.

Then we went and watched the train go around Gingerbread Town.

After that we went to Kaleidoscope to play and create things.


Then we walked through the history of Hallmark.

After all that we went to Famous Dave's to eat some yummy BBQ. Sorry, no pics. It was a little crazy with all the kids. But after we ate, we stopped at Cabela's to help the food digest and look at the stuffed animals.

The next day it was actually warm enough to play outside and the snow was finally packable! So we decided to go on a winter hike with some snow ball fighting in the mix.



We went to the old foundation with a fireplace.

and built a snowman.

and then with Spencer master crafting, we built an arch. We let the kids take turns climbing over it.


and then let them all climb on it.

Then we started testing the strength and the adults climbed on it. It held Lynette and I.

and Paul. And Paul and Spencer together! It was very strong!

It was a very fun time in the snow with our family!!
