Jacob is the one in bright blue riding the tricycle.

Ephraim

Paul and Judah

They had this wooden train that reminded me of the one they had at a pumpkin farm when I was little.

Me, Emma Grace, and Ephraim

They had some homemade slides. They were pretty cool, but they couldn't go on them all because they were wet and muddy from the previous days rain.

Uh Oh!

Train ride

They had this huge thing called a giant pillow to jump on. It was pretty cool.

They had a duck race using old water pumps. They loved this even though half of them got their mittens wet. They reached in to pick up the ducks with out thinking of taking them off first, but they didn't mind to much.

Then we went on a tractor ride to the pumpkin patch to pick our pumpkins.

We let them each pick their own, except Emma Grace, but she had fun touching them all.

After the pumpkin farm we went to the cider mill.

We watched them make doughnuts.

And saw how they make cider.

The next day we ate some of the cider mill doughnuts. They were very yummy and actually have cider in them.

After snack we cleaned some apples....

and put sticks in them.

They all helped make some candy to coat them....

and after it reached the right temperature, we dipped them.

See how pretty they turned out!

They were hard to eat, and sadly didn't taste as good as they looked. Next year we are making caramel apples with homemade caramel.

Then we washed the pumpkins...

and painted, and colored them. Aren't they pretty?!?

After we got all washed up, we went out side to play in the leaves. Emma Grace wasn't to sure about them.

It was very hard to get a picture with 4 little ones holding still and smiling. These are the best ones. I think I'm going to try and transpose Jacob from the second one over the first one.

Emma Grace found some mud. Yummy?!
